Cook the Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.

Add Port and Seasonings
Add port wine, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for about 5 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.

Layer the Lasagna
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of bechamel sauce. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Add half of the meat mixture, followed by a layer of mozzarella. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and remaining bechamel sauce topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano.

Bake the Lasagna
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
