Beef Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the beef ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this seasoning mix all over the beef ribs.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cooking Liquid

In a separate bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, water, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well mixed.

  4. 4

    Cook the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs in a roasting pan and pour the cooking liquid over the top. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.

  5. 5

    Bake the Ribs

Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bones.

  6. 6

    Finish Under the Broiler

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil. Brush additional BBQ sauce over the ribs and place them under the broiler for 5-10 minutes, until caramelized and slightly crispy.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
