Directions to Make Falafel Bowl

1. Prepare the Falafel

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, and salt. Pulse until a coarse mixture forms. Gradually add flour until the mixture holds together. Shape into small balls or patties.

2. Cook the Falafel

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry falafel in batches until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

3. Prepare the Base

In a serving bowl, spread a generous layer of hummus at the bottom.

4. Assemble the Bowl

Layer the romaine lettuce, chosen grain, red cabbage, shredded carrots, diced tomato, and sliced cucumber on top of the hummus. Finally, place the cooked falafel on top.

5. Serve

Drizzle with additional olive oil or your favorite dressing, if desired, and enjoy your Falafel Bowl!
