Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable and slightly toasted. Keep them warm in a clean kitchen towel.

Drain excess fat if needed. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant.

Take a warm corn tortilla and layer the cooked ground beef, black beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and avocado slices. Top with a dollop of sour cream.
