Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Chop the red and green bell peppers, onion, and garlic cloves. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

Peel and devein the shrimp if not already done. Rinse and pat dry.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Add the chopped bell peppers, onion, and garlic, sautéing until they are soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. 5

    Add Sauce

Pour in the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  1. 6

    Toast the Bread

While the shrimp is finishing, grill or toast the slices of Bakehouse sourdough until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the NOLA BBQ shrimp hot, with the toasted sourdough on the side for dipping.
