Mindo Chocolate Sidekicks Ingredients

Method

Mindo Chocolate Sidekicks Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Melt the Chocolate and Butter

In a heatproof bowl, combine the Mindo chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt together over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until smooth.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars and Eggs

In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar and egg mixture, stirring constantly until fully combined.

  5. 5

    Add Dry Ingredients

Sift the all-purpose flour and salt into the chocolate mixture. Fold in gently until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped nuts.

  6. 6

    Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
