Mix and Muddle
In an Old Fashioned glass, add the Demerara sugar and dashes of Angostura bitters. Muddle together until the sugar is dissolved.

Add Whiskey
Pour in the Kentucky Straight Whiskey and stir gently to combine.

Add Ice
Add ice cubes to the glass. Stir again to chill the mixture.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and then add it to the glass as a garnish.
