Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Lightly bread the chicken breast with breadcrumbs, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Toppings

In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 30 seconds. Then add the mushrooms and cooked prosciutto ham, sauté until mushrooms are tender.

  4. 4

    Deglaze and Combine

Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until reduced slightly. Stir in fresh sage. Place the cooked chicken back in the skillet and top with fontina cheese, allowing it to melt.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the cheese is melted and everything is heated through, serve the chicken topped with the mushroom and prosciutto mixture.
