1. Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the mostaccioli pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Grill the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Remove from the pan, let rest, and then slice.

3. Cook the Bacon

In the same pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then crumble into pieces.

4. Sauté the Vegetables

In the remaining bacon fat, add the broccoli, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-6 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

5. Make the Sage Cream Sauce

In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and fresh sage. Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked mostaccioli, grilled chicken, sautéed vegetables, bacon, and sage cream sauce. Mix well to combine.

7. Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with shredded Italian cheese blend and seasoned breadcrumbs.
