Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Rack of Lamb
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the rack of lamb with salt and pepper, then rub the za'atar spice blend all over the meat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Roast the Lamb
Place the rack of lamb in a roasting pan and cook in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing into chops.
- 3
Prepare the Baharat Carrots
Peel and slice the carrots into sticks. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil and sauté the carrots for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Add the baharat spice blend and stir until well coated. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
On a serving platter, place the sliced lamb chops. Drizzle with zhoug sauce and dollop the muhammara on the side. Scatter pomegranate seeds and candied walnuts over the top, and serve the baharat carrots alongside.
