Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork

In a bowl, marinate the pork short ribs with your preferred spices, salt, and pepper for 24 hours.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Kimchi Fried Rice

In a skillet, sauté chopped shallots until translucent. Add kimchi and cooked rice, stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until heated through. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Grill the Pork

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated pork short ribs for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Make the Muchim Sauce

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and chili flakes to create the spicy muchim sauce.

  5. 5

    Crispy Shallots

Thinly slice shallots and fry them in oil until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the grilled pork short ribs with a generous scoop of kimchi fried rice, drizzle with muchim sauce, and top with crispy shallots and sesame seeds.
