Baked Oysters Ingredients

Method

Baked Oysters Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Porcini Cream

Soak the dried porcini mushrooms in warm water for about 30 minutes until softened. Drain and chop finely.

  2. 2

    Cook the Lobster

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Add the chopped lobster and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

Add the chopped porcini mushrooms to the lobster mixture, followed by the heavy cream. Season with salt and black pepper. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens. Stir in half of the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Oysters

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the oysters on a baking sheet, opening them up carefully.

  5. 5

    Assemble and Bake

Spoon the lobster porcini cream mixture over each oyster. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the oysters are heated through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
