Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Shrimp

If using frozen shrimp, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight or under cold running water for about 10-15 minutes. Once thawed, peel and devein the shrimp if not already done.

2

Mince the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and mince them finely using a knife or a garlic press.

3

Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until the butter is melted and begins to foam.

4

Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

5

Cook the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

6

Add Lemon Juice

Squeeze the juice of the whole lemon over the shrimp while they are cooking and stir to combine.

7

Finish with Butter and Parsley

Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the shrimp and stir until melted. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

8

Serve

Serve the garlic shrimp immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
