Method

Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it is hot enough for toasting the bread.

2

Prepare the Garlic Herb Mixture

Finely mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh parsley and basil. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, parsley, basil, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well.

Assemble the Garlic Bread

3

Slice the Baguette

Cut the French baguette in half lengthwise to create two long pieces. You can also cut it into smaller sections if you prefer.

4

Add Olive Oil

Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the cut sides of the baguette.

5

Spread the Garlic Herb Mixture

Spread the garlic herb mixture generously over the olive oil-coated sides of the bread.

Toast the Bread

6

Toast in the Oven

Place the prepared baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

7

Serve

Remove the garlic bread from the oven, let it cool for a minute, then slice into pieces and serve warm.
