Method

Cooking the Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Season the Pork Chops

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Season both sides of the pork chops with this mixture.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork Chops

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden-brown color.

  3. 3

    Rest the Chops

Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the hamburger buns lightly if desired.

  2. 5

    Build the Sandwich

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Add a lettuce leaf, followed by a slice of the cooked pork chop, a slice of tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
