Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spinach

Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly under cold water. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

Finely chop the garlic and green onions. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then add in the chopped green onions and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add Spinach

Add the washed spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, approximately 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  3. 5

    Mix the Dip Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.

  4. 6

    Combine Everything

Once the spinach and vegetable mixture is cooled, add it to the cheese mixture. Stir in salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix everything until well combined.

Serving

  1. 7

    Prepare to Serve

Transfer the spinach dip to a serving bowl and serve with tortilla chips on the side.
