Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Corn Custard
In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh corn kernels, milk, and heavy cream. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is warm but not boiling. Remove from heat and let it steep for 10 minutes.
- 2
Blend the Mixture
After steeping, transfer the corn mixture to a blender. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a clean saucepan to remove the corn solids.

Add Flavorings
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and blue corn flour. Mix until well combined.

Chill the Mixture
Allow the custard to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Once chilled, add the Texas blue corn whiskey to the custard mixture. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
