Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them well with the marinade. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated fish for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Salsa Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Salsa

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and let sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Taco Assembly

  1. 4

    Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

On each tortilla, place a portion of grilled fish, top with fresh salsa, slices of avocado, and shredded cabbage. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
