Shrimp Preparation

Prepare the Shrimp
In a mixing bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss to coat evenly.

Set up Breading Station
In separate bowls, place the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and beaten eggs. Dip each shrimp first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with cornstarch. Set aside on a plate.
Frying Shrimp

Heat Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Shrimp
Carefully add the breaded shrimp to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Buffalo Sauce Preparation

Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir until well combined and heated through.
Combine and Serve

Toss the Shrimp
In a large mixing bowl, combine the fried shrimp with the prepared Buffalo sauce. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.

Serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side, if desired.
