Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade (Optional)

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and honey. Mix well. If using, place the ribeye steaks in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the steaks. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450°F to 500°F). Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 3

    Season the Steaks

If not using the marinade, rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, ensuring an even coating.

  3. 4

    Grill the Steaks

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks directly on the hot grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, without moving them, to achieve a good sear.

  4. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Flip the steaks using tongs and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or longer depending on your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium, and 150°F for medium-well).

  5. 6

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
