Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Prepare the Bread
Spread 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

Assemble the Sandwich
Place 2 slices of provolone and 2 slices of American cheese between two slices of bread, buttered side out.

Flip and Finish
Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

Slice and Serve
Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve warm.
House Potato Chips

Soak the Potatoes
Soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chips
Carefully add a handful of potato slices to the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Season the Chips
While the chips are still warm, sprinkle with sea salt to taste. Repeat frying with the remaining potato slices.

Serve the freshly made potato chips alongside the grilled cheese sandwich.
