Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated fish fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and let it rest.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to combine and set aside to let the flavors meld.

Chipotle Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt to taste. Stir until well combined and set aside.

Taco Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds each side. To each tortilla, add a portion of grilled fish, a generous amount of cabbage slaw, a drizzle of chipotle sauce, and slices of avocado. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
