Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing the Vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 3

    Add the Vegetables

Add the bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combining the Ingredients

  1. 4

    Mix in the Pasta

Once the vegetables are cooked, add the drained pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together gently to combine.

  2. 5

    Season the Dish

Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toss in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped basil, mixing until well incorporated.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Hot

Serve the Pasta Primavera hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
