Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place the chicken in the pan and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Remove from heat and slice into strips.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine and Serve
- 4
Combine Fettuccine and Sauce
In a large bowl, combine the drained fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
- 5
Serve with Chicken
Plate the fettuccine and top with the sliced grilled chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
