Prepare the bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

Toast the bread
Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Chop the tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Prepare basil and garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add salt and black pepper to the tomato mixture according to your taste. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the tomato mixture and gently toss to combine.
