Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet.

Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.

While the bread is toasting, chop the tomatoes into small cubes.

In a bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, fresh basil leaves (torn into smaller pieces), balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
