Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat. Season the steelhead salmon fillet with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Salmon

Drizzle olive oil on the grill or pan. Place the seasoned salmon fillet skin-side down (if applicable) and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tartar Sauce

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with any additional flavors you desire (like lemon juice, capers, or dill) to create a quick tartar sauce.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Place a generous amount of arugula on the bottom half of each burger bun. Add slices of tomato and the cooked salmon fillet. Top with pickled onion (optional) and a dollop of tartar sauce before placing the top half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burgers warm with your favorite side, such as fries or a salad.
