Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the chuck roast with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it.

  2. 2

    Slow Roast

Cover the pan with foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shredded with a fork.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Onions

While the beef is roasting, slice the onion thinly. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Shred the Beef

Once the beef is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Shred the beef using two forks.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

On each slice of garlic panini bread, layer the shredded beef, sautéed onions, and slices of Brie cheese. Top with another slice of bread.

  6. 6

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a panini press or skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes per side.
