Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 2
Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are okay.

Cook the Pancakes or Waffle
For pancakes, heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. For the waffle, preheat a waffle iron and pour the recommended amount of batter. Cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Serve
Serve the pancakes or waffle topped with fresh blueberries or strawberries and a generous dollop of whipped cream.
