Base Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

If you are using fillings such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, or tomatoes, dice or slice them as needed. If using spinach, wash and chop if necessary. If using cooked bacon or ham, chop it into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Whisk the Eggs

In a medium bowl, crack the three eggs. Add salt and black pepper. Whisk the mixture until the yolks and whites are fully combined and slightly frothy.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Pan

Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Allow it to melt and coat the bottom of the skillet evenly.

  2. 4

    Cook the Eggs

Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet. Let them cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to set.

  3. 5

    Add Fillings

Once the edges are set, add your desired fillings evenly over one half of the omelette. You can use cheese, vegetables, or meats based on your preference.

  4. 6

    Fold the Omelette

Using a spatula, gently fold the other half of the omelette over the fillings. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

  5. 7

    Serve

Carefully slide the omelette onto a plate. Cut it in half if desired and serve immediately.
