Pork Patty

Toppings

Method

Pork Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, approximately 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

During the last minute of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce on top of each patty, allowing it to caramelize slightly.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 5

    Slice Onion

Thinly slice the medium onion and set aside.

  2. 6

    Prepare Pickles

If using housemade pickles, slice them into rounds or wedges as preferred.

  3. 7

    Toast Burger Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a BBQ pork patty. Top with sliced onions and housemade pickles, then cover with the top half of the bun.

  2. 9

    Serve

Serve the Baby Back Burgers immediately with additional BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
