Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash the Fruits

Rinse the strawberries, blueberries, and grapes under cold running water. Pat them dry with a clean towel.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Strawberries

Remove the green tops from the strawberries and slice them into quarters.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Banana

Peel the banana and slice it into rounds.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Kiwi

Peel the kiwis and slice them into rounds or half-moons.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Mango

Peel the mango, slice the flesh away from the pit, and then cut it into cubes.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Pineapple

If using a whole pineapple, peel it, remove the core, and cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces. If using canned pineapple, drain it well.

Mixing

  1. 7

    Combine the Fruits

In a large mixing bowl, gently combine all the prepared fruits: strawberries, blueberries, banana, kiwi, mango, grapes, and pineapple.

  2. 8

    Add Optional Ingredients

If desired, add mint leaves, honey, and lime juice to the fruit mixture for added flavor.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve the Salad

Using a large spoon, serve the fruit salad into individual bowls or plates. Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate for up to an hour before serving.
