Method
Preparation of the Cedar Plank
- 1
Soak the Cedar Plank
Submerge the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour prior to grilling. This will prevent it from catching fire and will infuse the salmon with a smoky flavor.
Preparing the Salmon
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
- 3
Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and fresh dill. Squeeze half of the lemon juice over the salmon and set aside.
- 4
Place Salmon on Cedar Plank
Once the cedar plank has soaked, place it on the grill for about 3-5 minutes until it starts to smoke. Carefully place the seasoned salmon on the cedar plank.
- 5
Preparing the Seasonal Vegetables
- 6
Prepare the Vegetables
While the salmon is grilling, wash and chop the asparagus, bell pepper, and zucchini into bite-sized pieces.
