Method
Juicing Oranges
- 1
Prepare the Oranges
Wash the fresh oranges thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or pesticide residues.
- 2
Juice the Oranges
Cut the oranges in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice. If you don't have a juicer, you can use a fork to press and twist the juice out.
- 3
Strain the Juice (optional)
If you prefer pulp-free juice, pour the juice through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher.
- 4
Sweeten the Juice (optional)
If desired, mix in sugar to taste until dissolved. You can also dilute with water if the juice is too strong.
Juicing Apples
- 5
Prepare the Apples
Wash fresh apples under running water. Remove any dirt and cut off any bruised parts.
- 6
Juice the Apples
Core the apples and cut them into wedges. Use a juicer or blender to extract the juice. If using a blender, add a little water to help the blending process.
- 7
Strain the Juice (optional)
Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher to separate the juice from the pulp.
- 8
Sweeten the Juice (optional)
Add sugar to taste and mix well. You can also dilute with water if the juice is too concentrated.
