Season the Brisket
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the beef brisket, ensuring that it is evenly coated.

Prepare Cooking Liquid
In a separate bowl, combine the beef broth and half of the barbecue sauce. Set aside the other half of the barbecue sauce for serving.

Slow Cook the Brisket
Place the seasoned brisket in a slow cooker. Pour the beef broth mixture over the brisket, ensuring it is submerged in the liquid. Cover the slow cooker with its lid.

Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours, until the brisket is very tender and easily shreds with a fork.
Serving

Slice and Serve
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve with the reserved barbecue sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
