Method

Salsa Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pineapple

Start by dicing the fresh pineapple into small, bite-sized pieces. This will be the main ingredient of your salsa.

  2. 2

    Chop the Habanero

Wearing gloves, finely chop the habanero pepper. Be careful not to touch your face, as the oils can irritate your skin and eyes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Onion and Cilantro

Finely chop the red onion and cilantro, making sure to separate the leaves from the stems.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple, chopped habanero, red onion, and cilantro.

  5. 5

    Add Lime Juice and Seasoning

Pour in the lime juice and add salt and black pepper to the bowl. Mix everything together gently to combine the flavors.

  6. 6

    Chill the Salsa

Cover the salsa with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Chips Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Chips

Open the bag of tortilla chips and place them in a serving bowl.
