Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Preheat the Cooking Surface

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the steak on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove from heat and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 6

    Cook the Eggs

Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook them to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.).

  3. 7

    Season the Eggs

Once cooked, remove the eggs from the skillet and season with salt and pepper if desired.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, slice the rested steak and serve alongside the cooked eggs.

  2. 9

    Add the Side

Add the biscuit, croissant, or toast to the plate.

  3. 10

    Serve

    Serve immediately while hot.
