Brunch Burger Ingredients

Method

Brunch Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 2

    Cook the Hamburger

Form the ground chuck into a patty approximately 1/3 lb in weight. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the hamburger patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Fry the Egg

In a separate pan, crack the egg and fry it to your liking (sunny-side up or over-easy is recommended). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking the hamburger patty, place a slice of American cheese on top of the patty and cover the skillet to help it melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread the mayo on the bottom half of the burger bun. Layer with lettuce and tomato slices. Place the cooked hamburger patty with melted cheese on top, followed by the crispy bacon and the fried egg. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Brunch Burger immediately while warm, with your choice of side.
