Marinate the Goat Meat
In a large bowl, combine goat meat with curry powder, turmeric, cumin, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Mix well to coat the meat evenly. Cover and let marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

Add Garlic and Ginger
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Brown the Goat Meat
Add the marinated goat meat to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 10-15 minutes.

Incorporate Tomatoes
Add the chopped tomatoes to the pot and stir well. Cook until the tomatoes break down and blend into the meat mixture, about 5 minutes.

Add Coconut Milk and Spices
Pour in the coconut milk, bay leaves, and any additional salt or chili powder to taste. Stir to combine.

Simmer the Curry
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the goat meat is tender and the flavors are well combined.

Garnish and Serve
Once the goat is tender, remove from heat. Discard bay leaves and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot with rice or flatbread.
