Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Fill a large pot with water and add salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Cook the Lobster

Carefully add the live lobsters to the boiling water, cover, and cook for about 8-10 minutes for the first pound and 3-5 minutes for each additional pound. The lobsters should turn bright red when fully cooked.

  3. 3

    Chill the Lobster

Once cooked, remove the lobsters from the pot and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 15-20 minutes.

  4. 4

    Prepare for Serving

Once chilled, remove the lobster meat from the shells and place it in a serving dish. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the lobster meat and garnish with fresh herbs, black pepper, and melted butter on the side.
