Method

Preparation of Jellyfish

  1. 1

    Soak the Jellyfish

Rinse the dried jellyfish under cold running water to remove any excess salt. Place the jellyfish in a bowl and cover it with water. Let it soak for about 4 hours, changing the water every hour.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Jellyfish

After soaking, drain the jellyfish and place it in a pot of boiling water. Boil for about 3-5 minutes. Remove it from the pot, drain, and rinse under cold water. Cut the jellyfish into thin strips and place it in a bowl.

Making the Salad

  1. 3

    Prepare Vegetables

Julienne the cucumber and carrot into thin strips. Set aside.

  2. 4

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, mix together the sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil. Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the dressing.

  3. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the jellyfish strips, cucumber, and carrot. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

  4. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Chop the green onions and sprinkle them over the salad along with sesame seeds. Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
