Prepare the Hatchery
Begin by cleaning and sterilizing the container where you will hatch the Artemia cysts. Rinse it with hot water and let it dry completely.

Mix the Saltwater Solution
In the sterilized container, mix 4 liters of water with 30 grams of aquarium salt. Stir the mixture until the salt is completely dissolved. This creates a saline environment that is essential for the hatching process.

Add Artemia Cysts
Once the saltwater solution is ready, measure out 100 grams of Artemia cysts and gently sprinkle them into the water. Make sure to distribute them evenly across the surface of the water.

Aeration Setup
Set up the aeration system by placing the air stone at the bottom of the container and connecting it to the air pump. Turn on the pump to ensure that the water is well-aerated, which helps the cysts to hatch.

Provide Light (Optional)
If desired, place a light source above the container to provide illumination. Artemia thrive in light, which can help stimulate the hatching process.

Monitor and Maintain Conditions
Keep the container in a warm area, ideally between 25-28°C (77-82°F). Monitor the aeration and ensure that the water remains well-oxygenated. You should see the Artemia begin to hatch within 24-48 hours.

Harvest the Artemia
Once the Artemia larvae are visible and swimming, usually within 48 hours, use a fine mesh net to collect them. Rinse them with fresh water before serving.
