Preparation
- 1
Press the Tofu
Wrap the firm tofu in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Place a heavy object on top (like a skillet or a few cans) for about 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- 2
Chop the Vegetables
While the tofu is pressing, wash and chop the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot into bite-sized pieces.
- 3
Prepare Seasonings
Mince the garlic and set aside. Grate the ginger and slice the green onions thinly, keeping the white and green parts separate.
Cooking
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- 5
Cook the Tofu
Once the oil is hot, cut the pressed tofu into cubes and add them to the skillet. Let them cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown on all sides.
