Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cheese

Take the mozzarella cheese sticks out of the packaging and set aside.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the all-purpose flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second bowl, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in the third bowl.

Breading

  1. 3

    Bread the Cheese Sticks

Take each mozzarella cheese stick, coat it in flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure each cheese stick is fully covered. Place the breaded cheese sticks on a plate.

Frying

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large, deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can check the temperature using a thermometer or by dropping a breadcrumb into the oil; if it sizzles, the oil is ready.

  2. 5

    Fry the Cheese Sticks

Carefully add the breaded mozzarella sticks to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve with Marinara Sauce

Serve the hot mozzarella logs immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
