Method
Brewing Tea

Boil Water
In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.
Sweetening (Optional)

Add Sugar
If you prefer sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar to the hot tea while it’s still hot. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Cool Down
To chill the tea quickly, add 2 cups of ice cubes to the brewed tea and stir until the tea is cooled.
Serving

Serve
Pour the tea into glasses over ice if desired. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if you like.
