Method

BBQ Sauce Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the BBQ Sauce

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.

  2. 2

    Simmer

Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.

Burger Assembly

  1. 3

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Tomato

Slice the medium tomato into even slices.

  3. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche buns lightly on a skillet. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, a beef patty (not included in the ingredient list), a slice of cheddar cheese, strips of bacon, onion rings, tomato slices, pickles, and top with BBQ sauce. Place the top half of the bun on the burger.

Waffle Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook Waffle Fries

Prepare waffle fries according to package instructions, either baking or frying, until crispy and golden brown.
