Method

Preparation of Vegetables

  1. 1

    Prepare Romaine Lettuce

Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under running water, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped lettuce in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare Cherry Tomatoes

Rinse the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Add the halved tomatoes to the salad bowl.

  3. 3

    Prepare Cucumber

Peel the cucumber and slice it into thin rounds. Add the cucumber slices to the bowl.

  4. 4

    Prepare Red Onion

Peel the red onion and slice it very thinly. If desired, soak the slices in cold water for 10 minutes to mellow the flavor, then add them to the bowl.

Adding Toppings

  1. 5

    Add Blue Cheese

Crumble the blue cheese over the top of the salad mixture in the bowl.

  2. 6

    Add Bacon

Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces. Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the salad.

  3. 7

    Add Hard-Boiled Eggs

Peel the hard-boiled eggs and chop them into quarters. Arrange the egg quarters on top of the salad.

Dressing the Salad

  1. 8

    Dress the Salad

Pour the ranch dressing evenly over the salad. You can add more or less depending on your preference.

  2. 9

    Toss the Salad

Toss the salad gently to combine all ingredients, ensuring the dressing coats everything evenly.

    Serve

Serve the salad immediately as a refreshing and hearty meal.
