Pasta Preparation

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Grill the Chicken
Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Sauce
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the tomato sauce, heavy cream, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through. Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add fresh basil and mix well.

Combine Pasta, Chicken, and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta, sliced grilled chicken, and the tomato cream sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta and chicken evenly in the sauce.
