Slider Patties

Slider Assembly

Method

Preparing the Slider Patties

  1. 1

    Mixing Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Forming the Patties

Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty, about 2-3 inches in diameter.

  3. 3

    Cooking the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Assembling the Sliders

  1. 4

    Preparing the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the slider buns in half. If desired, toast the cut sides on the grill or skillet until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Building the Sliders

On the bottom half of each slider bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cheeseburger patty. Add a slice of tomato, a few pickle slices, and a drizzle of ketchup and mustard. Top with the other half of the slider bun.

  3. 6

    Serving

Arrange the assembled sliders on a platter and serve immediately while warm.
