Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center to help them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and top with cheddar cheese slices. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, split the burger buns and place them cut-side down on the grill or skillet for 1-2 minutes until they are toasted and golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer lettuce, the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Waffle Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the package of frozen waffle fries.

  2. 6

    Bake the Fries

Spread the frozen waffle fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt to taste. Bake according to the package instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
